Study: Antibodies stay 10 months after infection with corona
A recent study found that the duration of antibody survival in the human body, after being infected with the Corona virus, is only ten months.
This came according to a study published by the “Science Alert” website, and prepared by a group of scientists from Imperial College London.
According to the study, “the blood of people who contracted Covid-19 disease and then recovered, retains antibodies for up to at least 10 months, after the onset of symptoms,” based on samples from 38 people, patients and health care workers, all of whom were infected in The first wave of the pandemic outbreak.
A previous study had come to a different conclusion, which said that antibody levels begin to decline after reaching peak levels in about three to five weeks.
The Corona virus has caused the death of at least 5,003,717 people in the world since the end of December 2019, according to a census conducted by Agence France-Presse based on official sources on Tuesday.
The United States is the most affected country in terms of deaths (747,033), followed by Brazil (607,922), India (458,880), Mexico (288,464) and Russia (240,871).

The numbers are based on daily reports issued by each country’s health authorities and exclude subsequent reviews from statistical agencies that indicate much higher death numbers.
The World Health Organization, taking into account the excess mortality rate directly or indirectly related to Covid-19, considers that the outcome of the epidemic may be two or three times greater than the officially announced outcome.
